I was feeling the need to design something, I thought to myself "all I ever make are reskins of my portfolio as I don't get much client work" so I started designing this, I thought it would be a good excuse to install and skin wordpress. So I designed it around blog entries but I didn't like the idea of making another blog. In then end I desided on a similar theme, an Article archive,almost identical to a blog in layout but it was different and that was good enough for me. The name came to me half way through designing as my colour scheme reminded me of a cardboard box. Overall I am very pleased with this, it looks professional and is very space effective on the page.

Booze Cruise

In this project I was given a flat image design created by ekdesigns. With this design I constructed the code of the pages in html and css for the client. The design was very vibrant and colourful so I enjoyed working on this piece. However due to me not being able to design the site my self I was given a bit of a restriction on what I could change. If I was able to change anything I would of probably changed the text boxes because I'm not a strong fan of black and make them a bit more graphic. Overall I was pleased with the outcome of this peice and look forward to doing more work like this in the future.

CyanPort 3.0

This was the design for this portfolio, as of now this can be located from the home page of my site however I am always modifying it so I will show current and exsisting designs for it so you can see how it started and how I changed it along the way on my deviantart, a link to it can be found in the sidebar. The initial idea was to redesign it to make it more space effective as the content in the previous design was very close together, I wanted to experiment with space by adding line spacing and spreading the content out. As well as that, this was the first piece that I planned out with a wireframe design, I will include this on my DA aswell.

CyanPort 2.0

Even though this design was the second version of my portfolio I consider it as my first as I no longer have a copy of the original.It was very basic and relied heavily on images. I created CyanPort 2.0 to try to make a more professional looking design but keeped the same type of style. The liked the outcome however after working on other things I realised that I handn't put enough time into spacing things out so many of the content boxes were very crowded.
